About the Role: Support the organisations communications strategy, drafting content for newsletters, websites, and digital platforms. Liaise with external PR agencies, support media briefings, press releases, and other communications opportunities. Keep up to date with national and international political and policy developments, providing analysis and recommendations. Undertake policy research to inform submissions, reports, and action plans. Monitor parliamentary and policy developments, including legislation, consultations, and reform programmes. Support committee, working group, and Council agendas and communications. Draft briefings, correspondence, and articles for diverse stakeholders. Contribute to internal and external campaigns, initiatives, and projects as required. About You: At least 3 years experience in a policy, public affairs, or communications role, preferably within a membership. organisation, professional body, or public affairs environment A degree in Politics, Public Policy, Economics, Media/Communications, Law, or a related discipline. Strong research, analytical, and drafting skills, with the ability to distil complex information for diverse audiences. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including managing relationships at senior levels. Organisational skills, initiative, and the ability to prioritise in a dynamic environment. A collaborative, team-oriented approach.
