Role Summary HSE-aligned salary with increments You will work alongside a team of 6 Occupational Therapists, offering exceptional peer support, shared learning, and daily collaboration Access to regular supervision, mentoring, and guidance from Senior OTs A welcoming service ideal for newly qualified or early-career OTs looking to build strong paediatric experience A service that values innovation, reflective practice, and evidence-based interventions The chance to make a meaningful difference to the lives of children and their families within the community Key Duties and Responsibilities Complete child-centred occupational therapy assessments for children aged 9 years and older with a range of developmental, sensory, physical, and emotional needs Develop and deliver individualised, evidence-based intervention plans to support participation and independence in daily activities Provide direct and indirect interventions through clinic-based sessions, school visits, home visits, and group programmes Support children with Autism, DCD, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities, and other neurodevelopmental conditions Work collaboratively within a Primary Care multidisciplinary team, including Speech and Language Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, and Public Health Nurses Liaise closely with parents, teachers, SNAs, and community professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care Provide education, strategies, and practical supports to families and educators to promote carryover of therapy goals Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with HSE, CORU, and local policies Participate in team meetings, service development initiatives, audits, and quality improvement projects Engage in ongoing supervision, CPD, and reflective practice Requirements Hold a recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy.
Be registered with CORU as an Occupational Therapist (Essential).
