DUBLIN, IE, D01 HP90Others2500059BJob DescriptionWe are currently recruiting for a Senior Pricing Analyst with Data Science experience in our Pricing, Underwriting & Customer Analytics Department.Reporting to the Risk Pricing & Sophistication Manager, your role will be to support the Pricing function within AXA Ireland to achieve overall financial targets for all classes of business / channels / territories written by AXA Ireland.At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work majority of your week away from home. Away from home means either attendance at one of our head office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.Responsibilities:Support Pricing Management to deliver tasks for accounts as assigned as part of the annual objective setting process.Support complex pricing initiatives, innovation and transformation projects, contributing to continuous improvement.Build data pipelines using data science and Machine Learning techniques to solve business problems.Maintain and improve data science pipelines.Represents Pricing team on cross-functional projects within AXA Ireland.Participate in projects between pricing departments in other AXA entities.Provide guidance to junior team members and, when necessary, manage projects.Is flexible within the role and prepared to undertake other duties as assigned by line manager from time to time.Must hold a numerical degree in Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics or Computer Sciences, a Masters in these areas would be beneficial but not a requirement.Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar Pricing Analyst or Data Science role.Experience with Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Flask, or FastAPI.Demonstrated proficiency in Python and machine learning techniques.Solid experience with SQL.Experience with a version control system (eg. Git).Detailed oriented, problem-solver and solution focused with proven ability to deliver, prioritising and organising workload.Highly motivated, autonomous, innovative, pragmatic and able to apply known or new techniques.Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.Able to apply analytical problem solving, make recommendations, and implement improvements continuously in a dynamic environment.Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex insights into clear business recommendations.Ability to mentor junior staff and delegate effectively.Committed to maintaining compliance with Health & Safety, IT Security, Data Protection, and relevant legislation.Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of Power BI or other data visualization tools.Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorized to work in Ireland and/or the United Kingdom.This recruitment campaign will be used to support permanent, temporary and/or extension for any upcoming similar positions.One of the best things about joining AXA is our rewards package.
