A leading global pharmaceutical and biotechnology organization is seeking an Automation Process Engineer to join its state-of-the-art facility in Sligo, Ireland. Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and execute engineering projects and process improvements.
* Perform preventative and demand maintenance on manufacturing and utility equipment.
* Support equipment development, technical documentation, validation, and troubleshooting.
* Identify opportunities for technology upgrades and continuous improvement (CIP).
* Design, source, and implement new equipment and capital projects.
* Coordinate with equipment vendors and support technical transfers.
* Track and present project progress; prepare CAPEX and management reports.
* Ensure compliance with PM, calibration, safety, quality, and audit standards.
* Deliver technical training and supervise contractors.
* Support risk management, root cause analysis, and CAPA implementation.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
* 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
* Strong problem-solving and electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
* Familiar with cGMP, ISO/FDA, and calibration standards.
* Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence outcomes.
