Clerical Officer - UPMC Sports Surgery Clinic, Dublin Location: UPMC Sports Surgery Clinic, Santry, Dublin 9Job type: Full-time Contract of EmploymentOverview: The focus of the role of Clerical Officer is to support the UPMC Sports Surgery Clinic's mission - "to serve ourcommunities by providing outstanding patient care and to shape tomorrow's health systemthrough clinical and technological innovation, research and education".The Clerical Officer will be responsible for supporting the quality & data collection function withinthe hospital and will work closely with the wider UPMC SSC team.The Clerical Officer will support management with collection of data within the hospital and compilereports for distribution internally and externally.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:· Manual and digital collection and dissemination of data on an ongoing basis as perrequirements set out by the organisation.· Assist with conducting or supporting clinical and non clinical audit activities.· Manage audits and reports on patient and customer complaints, compliments, and patientsatisfaction feedback.· General administrative support to include "Travelling Fellowship" programme.· Administrative oversight for Research & Ethics Committee and meetings.· General administrative support.· Ensure all data handling is GDPR compliant.· Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by Hospital Management.· Through the course of the working day or week there may be a requirement to work in otherareas of the hospital in line with patient requirements as requested by your linemanager/deputy or nurse management.· Staff must produce satisfactory documentary evidence of all training and experience claimedby them, if required to do so by the organisation.· To respect the organisational values of the Hospital.Qualifications & Experience:Educated to Leaving Certificate Level or equivalent.
