We are currently seeking multiple Site Engineers to join our client's team on a major road upgrade project in Roscommon. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer to play a key role in the successful delivery of a large infrastructure project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set out works accurately and ensure alignment with design specs.
- Communicate technical info to foremen, operatives, and subcontractors.
- Conduct material testing and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Maintain a site diary documenting daily activities and progress.
- Monitor and report on work progress, including subcontractor performance.
- Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
- Build strong relationships with team members and subcontractors.
- Attend meetings and provide updates as required.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in setting out, ideally within a main contractor.
- Strong knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, or similar engineering design software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
