Primary Responsibilities
* Consistently achieve or exceed monthly sales and order intake targets across the access control and automatic systems division.
* Maximise sales opportunities by identifying key target market sectors including healthcare, hospitality, pharmaceutical, commercial, education, and government, and by developing and executing effective growth strategies.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with architects, specifiers, M&E consultants, contractors, and other key stakeholders to ensure products are specified on major projects.
* Apply strong commercial judgement to deliver viable customer solutions while meeting or exceeding target margins.
* Continuously develop in-depth knowledge of the company's products and services to effectively represent the organisation's value proposition.
* Maintain a strong understanding of competitor offerings within the sector to identify and successfully promote competitive advantages.
* Ensure all estimated leads and opportunities generated through CRM/CIS platforms are followed up professionally to maximise conversion to orders.
* Conduct regular weekly client appointments and business development activities within the Leinster region to drive sales growth.
* Review all relevant estimates within the division and collaborate with the Business Development Manager (BDM) to ensure consistency, accuracy, and profitability.
* Work closely with the BDM to maximise full 360-degree specification and sales opportunities.
* Manage, service, and grow existing customer accounts to achieve individual monthly and annual sales and margin targets.
* Cross-sell the wider group portfolio of products and services where appropriate.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to identify and capture all relevant sales opportunities within the Leinster region.
* Build strong working relationships with the Contracts Manager to ensure a smooth handover of projects and maintain positive customer relations.
Strong base salary & commission + company car is attached
