About this role:
We are seeking a talented Project Management Specialist to lead and coordinate the design, construction, commissioning, and handover of Mechanical, Electrical and Process upgrade works at a Wastewater Treatment facility.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and supervise a team of engineers, safety personnel, and M&E installation personnel
* Represent project interests at client meetings and document project coordination activities
* Oversee on-site PSDP & PSCS duties and responsibilities
* Develop a culture of innovation and initiative in Health, Safety, Quality, and Environment (HSQE)
* Manage site documentation, including signage, audits, method statements, reports, and subcontractor documentation
* Plan and schedule construction activities
* Procure and expedite materials and equipment
* Review project costs and prepare reports
* Research and suggest construction methods and equipment
* Closure and handover of completed projects, including safety files and documentation
* Prepare progress and technical reports for clients and internal stakeholders
* Timeline planning and overseeing commissioning and validation of plant and mechanical systems
* Manage EPS performance against contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Requirements:
* Proficiency in MS Office and project software
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Strong engineering, analytical, and problem-solving skills
* Collaborative skills with ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in the water and wastewater industry
* Interest in implementing opportunities and initiatives within tight deadlines
* Ability to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and achieve stated deadlines
Qualifications:
* Third-level Mechanical or Environmental Engineering degree
* Similar relevant third-level qualification and experience considered
* Full EU/Irish driving license
