A Tier 1 Contractor with a strong pipeline of major building projects in Dublin is seeking an
experienced Bid Manager to lead the end-to-end work-winning process for high-value tenders.
This
role offers full ownership of bid strategy, coordination, and submission.Key Responsibilities
Bid Leadership & Strategy
Take full ownership of pre-qualification and tender submissions from kick-off to handover.
Develop win strategies aligned with client drivers, risk profile, and project constraints.
Lead bid planning, resource allocation, and submission programmes.Team & Stakeholder Management
Chair bid kick-off meetings and manage multidisciplinary bid teams.
Coordinate inputs from estimating, planning, commercial, design, H&S;, and operations.
Challenge contributors where required to maintain quality and consistency.Commercial & Technical Interface
Work closely with Estimators and Commercial teams to ensure pricing aligns with bid strategy.
Ensure technical proposals are buildable, deliverable, and aligned with programme.
Manage clarifications, mid-bid changes, and client queries.Quality Control & Submission
Own submission quality, compliance, and presentation.
Review and sign off final submissions prior to issue.
Lead post-tender interviews and support negotiations.Continuous Improvement
Capture lessons learned and improve bid processes, templates, and win-rate performance.Requirements
Proven experience as a Bid Manager or Senior Bid Manager with a main contractor.
Strong track record delivering high-value building tenders.
Comfortable leading senior stakeholders under tight deadlines.
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.Salary & Package
Salary range: €95,000 – €115,000 DOE
