Piping Designer Lead Position
This role involves acting as the lead designer on small projects or as a senior designer on large projects. The individual will have the potential to be the Piping Design Team Lead as part of a multi-disciplinary project delivery team.
The successful candidate will develop technical descriptions, drawings, complex piping plans and layouts, piping isometrics sketches, and electronic models for equipment in accordance with project requirements, codes, specifications, and procedures.
Key responsibilities include clash checking for pipe clashes and collaborating with multi-discipline teams on globally executed projects.
The candidate will work with project team members, client teams, and other external parties to ensure coordination is aligned.
* Piping 3D modelling
* Developing technical descriptions, drawings, complex piping plans and layouts
* Piping isometrics sketches and electronic models for equipment
* Clash checking for pipe clashes
Requirements:
* Ideal experience of leadership in industrial piping design
* 15+ years of piping design experience for chemical, bio-pharma, or similar industrial projects
* Working knowledge of Cadworx suite would be an asset but candidates with 3D modelling experience with PDS, PDMS, Smart Plant3D, or Plant3D or other 3D software are welcome to apply
