My client is one of Ireland's leading suppliers to the Foodservice Industry, known for their exceptional product range, strong customer relationships, and commitment to quality.
Due to continued growth and high demand, they are expanding their team and now seek an experienced Area Sales Manager to cover the Dublin region.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and commercially driven sales professional to join a respected, fast-paced business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing existing accounts, developing new business, and driving sales growth across a diverse portfolio of food products supplied to restaurants, hotels, caterers, and other foodservice clients.
Salary & Benefits: Salary up to €60k may be negotiable but must reflect experience, Bonus, Pension Contribution, Health Insurance, Daily Lunch Allowance and Company Car.
Responsibilities for the job of Food Service Account Manager
 1. Manage and grow existing customer accounts through regular communication and tailored service
 2. Build long-term relationships with chefs, buyers, and business owners to become a trusted partner
 3. Provide product knowledge, training, and menu development support to clients
 4. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the foodservice market (restaurants, hotels, caterers, cafes)
 5. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms in line with company strategy and profitability goals
 6. Resolve any customer issues promptly to ensure satisfaction and retention
 7. Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company's product range
 8. Prepare accurate sales forecasts, call plans, and performance reports
 9. Use CRM tools to manage customer data, leads, and opportunities effectively
 10. Attend sales meetings, trade shows, and promotional events as required.
 11. Work closely with marketing, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure seamless client experience
 12. Support new product launches and promotional campaigns
