Receptionist Hours: 8.30am - 5.30 (40h Week) Location: Walking distance from Bord Gais Energy Theatre Excellent Benefits and salary We are seeking a proactive and professional Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our client's team in Grand Canal Dock.
This is a fast-paced and varied role that requires strong communication, organisation, and multitasking skills.
The successful candidate will play a key part in both front-of-house operations and supporting the broader administration team.
This position requires a high level of confidentiality, initiative, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills.
You will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience while contributing to day-to-day administrative activities.
Key Responsibilities Front of House / Reception Welcome and assist all visitors, clients, and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Manage the main switchboard, directing calls promptly and accurately.
Maintain an organised, professional, and efficient reception area.
Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and courier services.
Oversee meeting room bookings and ensure rooms are prepared as required.
Administrative Support Provide general administrative assistance to the wider team.
Process invoices and support basic financial administration tasks.
Coordinate travel arrangements (domestic and international).
Order office supplies, catering, and maintain stock levels.
Support email correspondence and document handling.
Assist with any ad hoc tasks or projects as required.
About You We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organised, and committed to delivering excellent service.
Essential requirements include: 3+ years experience in a receptionist or administrative role within a corporate environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional telephone manner and customer-focused approach.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and general office IT systems.
