Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Tech Support Specialist to join our team. As a Tech Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our technology infrastructure.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, routers, and firewalls.
* Deliver exceptional customer service via a helpdesk system to staff and users.
* Conduct IT skills training sessions for staff and users.
* Perform network administration in a Microsoft Windows Server and Citrix VMware environment.
* Manage user accounts and email services through Microsoft Exchange and Office 365.
* Monitor and maintain system integrity and security using antivirus and anti-spyware tools.
* Administer and monitor data backups (onsite and offsite).
* Assist with new user setups, desk moves, and cabling tasks.
* Oversee telecommunications systems administration and software license compliance.
* Liaise with vendors and service providers to source IT solutions ensuring best value.
* Support the development of management information systems through software utilities.
* Maintain accurate IT documentation and advise on new technologies and improvements.
* Lead IT projects and provide cover for the ICT Manager when required.
