Job Overview:
This role supports the finance department in its daily operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial activities.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Prepares and issues sales invoices in collaboration with the sales team.
2. Carries out credit control, including following up on aged debtor accounts.
3. Assists in preparing month- and quarter-end reports for external auditors.
4. Processes and manages purchase orders.
5. Supports the sales team to ensure proper onboarding of new suppliers and customers.
6. Assists the Accounts Manager with VAT returns for both Revenue and HMRC.
7. Maintains financial ledgers and oversees day-to-day accounting processes.
8. Evaluates and implements appropriate systems and internal controls.
9. Performs monthly bank reconciliations for all payments, receipts, and financial transactions.
10. Reconciles creditor accounts prior to payment processing and approval.
