At Aran Sweater Market, we take pride in delivering exceptional products and service to our customers. We are currently seeking a Goods Inwards Assistant to join our busy Galway Store.
Key Responsibilities:
* Receive and break down deliveries, unpacking and organising stock efficiently.
* Manage and maintain the tidiness and cleanliness of stockrooms and storage areas.
* Handle goods with care, ensuring stock is stored correctly and safely.
* Carry out general housekeeping duties in the stock areas to ensure a safe working environment.
* Operate EPOS (Electronic Point of Sale) systems to process incoming goods and update inventory records.
* Assist in stock control and inventory checks as required.
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience working in a stockroom or goods inwards department is essential.
* Comfortable with lifting, carrying, and moving stock - this is a physically demanding role.
* A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Basic IT skills and familiarity with EPOS or stock management systems.
