Job Description
Function and objective of the position: Produces/ packs all applicable products using specification sheets, verbal and handwritten instructions.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
* Responsible for supporting the day to day operation, output, Quality and performance of the relevant production / packing line
* Operate and monitor the production activities and equipment uptime and target outputs, where applicable
* Responsible for supporting all batch documentation and cGMP of each production run
* Responsible for all batch documentation and cGMP of each packing run
* Support effectively in reviewing and implementing accurate Standard Operating procedures (SOP’s)
* Report variance or deviation from Standard Operating Procedures to Supervisor
* Maintains production / packing line areas in a clean and orderly manner at all times
* Complies with all Safety related procedures
* Responsible for the timely set up of packing lines ensuring full line clearance
Additional duties and responsibilities:
* Actively participate in Lean programs with a focus on line efficiency and waste reduction
* Other duties as requested by Manager/Supervisor

Qualifications
* Leaving Certificate or equivalent
* Good written and oral communication skills required.
* Must have a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and demonstrated reliability.
* Must be capable of working individually or in a team environment
* Previous experience in a manufacturing facility is an advantage
