About the Role
As the Tax Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing tax compliance and supporting strategic initiatives within a complex international structure.
Reporting to the Controller, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams and external advisors to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting across multiple jurisdictions.
This position offers exposure to global operations and the chance to strengthen compliance frameworks while contributing to business success.
Responsibilities
Manage corporation tax filings and monthly tax provisions in collaboration with external consultants.
Responsible for indirect tax returns across multiple countries, including VAT, VIES, and Intrastat.
Maintain a comprehensive tax compliance calendar to ensure timely submissions.
Support Transfer Pricing compliance and review intercompany agreements.
Assist with governance and control frameworks to minimize tax risks.
Liaise with tax authorities and respond to queries on international tax matters.
Provide guidance on tax implications for new business flows and supply chain operations.
Stay informed on changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the business.
Contribute to year-end audit activities and group compliance submissions.
About the Person
The company is looking for a Tax Manager who combines technical expertise with a proactive mindset.
You will have a relevant tax qualification and ideally 3+ years' post-qualification experience in tax in practice or industry ideally with some international tax experience.
This role will be best suited to someone who can communicate effectively, work as part of a team and also take ownership of their work.
