About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Commercial Sales Agent to join our dynamic team, focused on our commercial customer base across ROI. This role involves leading multi-channel sales and customer-retention campaigns, with an emphasis on outbound sales, customer engagement, and minimising churn. As a Senior Commercial Sales Agent, you will also play a pivotal role in mentoring inside sales team members and driving strategic sales initiatives to achieve company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

* Drive outbound sales efforts to generate new commercial customers and meet or exceed sales targets.
* Manage inbound sales inquiries, ensuring all customer needs are met with professionalism and efficiency.
* Develop and execute strategies to re-engage lost customer accounts, aiming to convert them back into active clients.
* Spearhead customer retention efforts by renegotiating contracts and providing excellent product solutions to minimize churn.
* Identify cross-selling opportunities within the existing customer base, enhancing the value of each customer relationship.
* Maintain and nurture strong relationships with customers, acting as a primary point of contact for escalated issues.
* Collaborate with the sales management team to develop and implement strategic sales initiatives.
* Participate in planning and executing multi-channel sales campaigns, including digital sales and phone-based selling.
* Support the marketing team by providing insights and feedback on customer preferences, market trends, and campaign effectiveness.
* Mentor and coach inside sales team, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their targets.
* Lead by example, setting high standards for customer engagement, sales techniques, and professional conduct.
* Assist in the training and onboarding of new team members, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to succeed.
* Track and report on key sales metrics, providing regular updates to management on progress toward sales goals.
* Analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, making data-driven recommendations to enhance sales performance.
* Ensure all customer interactions are accurately documented in CRM systems, maintaining high standards of data integrity.

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Inside Sales Agent role will have 3-5 years of experience in a similar position ideally within the energy, telecoms, or financial services sectors, with a proven track record in outbound sales and customer retention. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication and negotiation skills, a strong customer focus, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Advanced IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and CRM systems, are essential. Experience in digital sales and social selling is highly desirable. The candidate should also demonstrate leadership qualities, with the ability to mentor and develop junior sales team members.
