The scientific instrumentation sector plays a vital role in advancing research and innovation across pharma, biotech, environmental testing, food safety, and academia. As scientific discovery accelerates, so does the need for precision instruments and expert support.
We are seeking a technically capable and commercially experienced Technical Sales Specialist to join a global leader in scientific technology supporting the sales of their instruments in Ireland.
In this role you will be working with clients to understand their scientific goals and tailoring solutions that support their workflows. You’ll engage with a mix of existing accounts and new prospects, supported by an established brand and product reputation.
The successful candidate will possess:
* A bachelor’s (minimum) scientific degree in Chemistry or related subject
* Scientific capital instruments sales experience and/or strong technical experience with relevant techniques
* Drivers Licence and willingness to travel up to 80% of your time across Ireland
The ideal candidate will be based around Cork, but other areas including parts of Leinster & Connacht will be considered
Applications are also invited from candidates who are looking to transition out of the lab into a commercial and customer focusses role.
The role offers a highly competitive basic salary depending on experience, plus uncapped commission with realistic OTE of 25% on top. Additional perks include a company car, private healthcare, pension, and strong learning and development resources.
