Abbey Law is a leading firm specialising in immigration and human rights law. They are seeking to recruit a talented and passionate person to join their growing team.
Key responsibilities
* Drafting legal correspondence, submissions, and applications in immigration and human rights matters under solicitor supervision
* Managing complex client files and casework from initial instruction to resolution
* Preparing briefs, books of pleadings, and supporting documentation for litigation
* Attending and assisting at hearings before Courts and Tribunals
* Maintaining the highest standards of client care and communication
* Conducting legal research and staying abreast of developments in immigration and human rights law
The ideal candidate will possess
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly and persuasively
* Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a legal environment (experience in immigration/human rights law preferred)
* A relevant third-level legal qualification (LLB, BCL, or equivalent)
* Strong academic credentials, with a proven record of achievement in legal studies
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
* High level of attention to detail and accuracy in written work
* Proficiency in an additional language (desirable but not essential)
Remuneration and benefits
* Competitive salary range: €32,000 – €42,000, commensurate with experience
