Job Title: Maintenance Team Leader, Rme Team
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safety regulations and policies are adhered to, conducting preventative maintenance on time to a high standard, and providing high levels of equipment availability through continuous improvement.
This is a dynamic role that requires the ability to work in a hands-on manner, demonstrate SME levels of knowledge on all MHE, coach and mentor technicians, and support line managers.
The ideal candidate will have NFQ6 / Higher Certificate or Advanced Certificate in Engineering, NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject, and experience using CMMS to plan proactive maintenance and record reactive tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Role model health & safety best practices and monitor those around them to ensure they follow the example they set.
2. Work in a hands-on manner and demonstrate SME (Subject Matter Expert) levels of knowledge on all MHE (Material Handling Equipment) in the building.
3. Coach and mentor the technicians on shift.
4. Support the line manager and to supervise the shift in their absence.
5. Provide high levels of equipment availability to our internal customers by means of troubleshooting and prioritizing.
6. Support continuous improvement of systems in a standard manner across the EU network.
7. Develop and maintain a good working relationship across all levels in the organization.
8. Understanding of OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and equipment performance metrics.
9. Management of contractors.
Requirements:
* NFQ6 / Higher Certificate or Advanced Certificate in Engineering / NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject.
* Multi-skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines with relevant experience in automation or complex MHE environments.
* Solid foundational knowledge of PLC based controls systems.
* Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) to plan proactive maintenance and record reactive tasks.
* Knowledge of Statutory Compliance requirements.
* Ability to communicate (written & verbal) in English and the local language at CEFR Level B2 or higher.
