We are seeking a proactive and client‑focused
Commercial Account Handler
to join my client's Commercial Team. In this role, you will manage and service your own portfolio of SME commercial clients, ensuring they receive exceptional service, accurate advice, and timely support across all aspects of their insurance needs.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with commercial insurance experience who enjoys building strong client relationships and delivering high‑quality service in a professional, supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
* Act as the primary point of contact for your assigned commercial clients.
* Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships based on trust and service excellence.
* Handle client queries promptly, professionally, and with a solutions‑focused approach
* Prepare renewal terms and documentation.
* Process MTAs, endorsements, and cancellations accurately and efficiently.
* Liaise and negotiate with insurers and underwriters to secure competitive terms.
* Work closely with colleagues across the Commercial Team to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Support onboarding of new clients and contribute to team targets and service standards.
Experience:
* Minimum
1 year of experience
handling
SME commercial insurance risks
(brokerage or insurer environment).
* Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and the Irish insurance market.
* APA Commercial Insurance
required;
CIP
is an advantage.
* Experience preparing renewals, MTAs, and policy documentation.
