The role involves a range of tasks, including:
* Installing, supporting, and troubleshooting IT equipment and software
* Managing tickets and providing first- and second-line support
* Conducting proactive maintenance to optimize system availability
* Implementing projects and collaborating with other IT Service colleagues to deliver innovations

The Ops Tech IT team maintains constant tech support to Amazon's global operations. This requires diverse skills, as some team members implement solutions and create new ones, while others take on management roles, providing leadership to support colleagues so they can better assist end-users.
The team operates around the clock, balancing performance and sustainability in all new solutions. Many team members are based on-site, and the team's primary goal is to provide seamless support or perform critical maintenance with minimal disruption.
Requirements:
* Relevant experience using hardware and software, including Microsoft Office or Windows, in an IT role
* Relevant experience working within an IT support environment or in IT asset management and purchasing
* Advanced proficiency in verbal and written local language
* A valid driving license
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Redhat), Microsoft hardware (installation), AWS, or other industry-relevant certifications
* A degree in Computer Science or another technical field
* Experience in networking infrastructure
* Experience in improving existing processes and procedures
* Experience in developing clear and concise documentation
