At Dornanwe are currently recruiting for Mechanical Supervisors to work on site in Cork.Your day to day will include:Supervise and coordinate the activities of various subcontractors, foreman and chargehandsEstablish and adjust work timelines to meet the construction schedule for the projectTaking responsibility for health and safety on site and leading by exampleOrganising workers, plant, machinery and materialsSupervising construction activitiesCoordinates with all other crafts working on a job site to ensure smooth transitionsIdentifying materials and equipment that may be requiredEnsuring construction is carried out accurately, following plans and specificationsConducts quality control inspections on project sitesEnsuring that contractor activities are properly co-ordinatedEnsuring that tasks are completed on time and to the required quality standardsAnalyses and quickly resolves any work problems and may arise and ensures that all deficiencies on any given project are corrected in a timely mannerTraining employees and apprentices are provided with relevant work experienceMaintaining detailed and accurate site reportsCommunicating project progress to key stakeholders, clients, architects and engineersWhat we are looking for:5+ years industrial experience in a supervisor role
