Accounts Payable Assistant

Purpose
As an Accounts Payable Assistant at Securitas Technology Ireland, you play a key role in ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of supplier invoices and payments. You partner with colleagues across Finance and the wider business to deliver timely, reliable support that underpins our commitment to operational excellence and customer trust.
Major Responsibilities
* Drives the accurate and efficient processing of supplier invoices within our finance system
* Partners with colleagues to ensure correct coding of invoices and allocation of payments
* Delivers timely reconciliation of supplier statements and proactively resolves discrepancies
* Issues supplier remittances and supports subcontractor reporting via ROS
* Collaborates with the Finance team to meet internal reporting requirements and participates in ad hoc projects as the business evolves
* Engages with internal and external stakeholders to build positive working relationships and support continuous improvement

Education
* Relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Business (or equivalent experience)
Experience & Knowledge
* Experience in an Accounts Payable or Finance environment is advantageous
* Confidence working with finance or ERP systems
* Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
* Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
