This is a day-rate contract offering long-term stability, modern technology, and the opportunity to work on high-impact projects within a fast-moving Fin Tech environment.
The Role Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications Contribute to system architecture and technical decision-making Build scalable, resilient microservices using modern Java frameworks Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and Dev Ops teams Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, and security Mentor junior developers and promote best engineering practices Qualifications7+ years\' commercial experience as a Java Developer Strong expertise in Java (8+), Spring / Spring Boot Experience building microservices and RESTful APIs Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) preferred Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices Prior experience in Fin Tech, banking, or financial services is highly desirable Experience in high-throughput, low-latency systems
