OverviewReporting to the IT Transformation Manager, the Central IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for maintaining the business's central IT Infrastructure including Data Centres, Networks and Security (Firewalls). This role is responsible for overseeing the work performed and managing operational aspects of the managed service providers in these areas.Key ResponsibilitiesWork closely with managed services provider to set up, configure, and maintain hardware and software components within the datacentre, such as servers, storage, and operating systemsOversee the central components of the Microsoft IT Infrastructure, such as Active Directory and related core IT infrastructure services, ensuring it is secure, available, performing optimally, and addressing any technical issues in a timely mannerOversee and direct managed service providers as they perform routine maintenance tasks and upgrades on central IT infrastructure, in line with Tirlán’s security policies and controlsEnsure the datacentre and central IT Infrastructure complies with security standards and industry regulations, and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans as neededEnsure licences compliance for all central infrastructure technologiesWork collaboratively with other IT teams and business stakeholders to support new initiatives and projectsParticipate in datacentre and central IT Infrastructure related incident management as required liaising with service management, the managed service partner and application teamsContribute to the Strategy development for Tirlan’s Central IT InfrastructureKey RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field8 - 10 years’ experience in Microsoft IT Infrastructure or similarFamiliar with IT infrastructure services such as Microsoft Active DirectoryMinimum 10 years’ experience working with managed service providers in managing datacentres, networks and IT Security Infrastructure.Knowledge of security standards and best practices, including ISO 27001 and NISTFamiliar with virtualization technologies, such as VMware Technical knowledge of server hardware, operating systems and storage technologiesKnowledge of data backup and disaster recovery processesNetworking experience is advantageousExperience in working with Cloud Services desirableStrong verbal and written communication skillsProven analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong team player with a growth mindsetAbout usThrough our expertise in research and development, customer insights, food safetyand state-of-the-art manufacturing we bring innovative food and nutrition solutions to a global market.
