Overview
Permanent full-time post. University College Cork wishes to appoint an academic within Cork University Business School to the role of Lecturer in Accounting. CUBS is triple accredited by AMBA and AACSB, EQUIS and a PRME Champion. The school is in the top 1% of business schools globally and aims to shape leaders for a sustainable future with a dynamic, supportive and inclusive learning, teaching, research and working environment.
Responsibilities

The Lecturer in Accounting will demonstrate appropriate research and teaching experience.
Candidates should identify their research outputs to date and ongoing potential to publish in leading international journals (3 and 4 star ranked journals by the Chartered Association of Business Schools are preferred).
Candidates must also demonstrate their experience and/or potential in delivering high quality teaching in the discipline of accounting across undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Candidates should set out how their research may contribute to one or more of the UCC Futures or proposed new strategic research centre on the Future of Work and Economies.

Salary and benefits

Appointment may be made on the Lecturer (Below the Bar) Salary Scale: €42,102 - €72,452 (Scale B) / €44,169 - €68,942 (Scale A).
Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
