Technical Leadership Role
We are seeking an experienced engineer to lead our Platform Technologies team.
About the Job:
This is a hybrid role with 3 days per week in-office at Parkwest Business Park, Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping our platform technologies and building the core technical infrastructure that powers our entire engineering organization.
The Opportunity:
* To architect and build our entire observability strategy using OpenTelemetry, ADOT, AWS X-Ray, and Managed Prometheus.
* To continue the enterprise-wide migration from ActiveMQ to Apache Kafka and establish event-driven architecture standards across all teams.
* To design service-to-service communication patterns and authentication systems (Edge Auth Lambda).
The ideal candidate will have experience working with distributed systems, messaging infrastructure (Apache Kafka), OpenTelemetry instrumentation, distributed tracing platforms like Prometheus and Grafana.
