Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Head Chef to lead our culinary team and oversee all kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-volume, high-quality food service, with a passion for innovation, leadership, and delivering exceptional experiences. This role requires hands-on leadership, effective team management, cost control, and a commitment to upholding food safety and hygiene standards.Key Responsibilities:Lead, inspire, and manage the kitchen team to deliver outstanding food quality and presentation.Develop creative and seasonal menus aligned with the restaurant's vision and customer preferences.Ensure consistent food preparation and presentation standards across all dishes.Monitor and manage food costs, labor costs, and inventory levels to achieve budgeted targets.Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety in compliance with all regulatory requirements.Recruit, train, and develop kitchen staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.Collaborate with management and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth kitchen operations and customer satisfaction.Manage supplier relationships and source high-quality ingredients while maintaining cost efficiency.Stay current on culinary trends, new techniques, and industry developments.Requirements:Proven experience as an Head chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel.Formal culinary training or equivalent professional experience.Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage a diverse team.Excellent knowledge of food costing, inventory control, and kitchen management systems.Exceptional creativity and passion for food, with a focus on quality and consistency.Up-to-date knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.Ability to perform well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.Job Type: Full-timePay: €55,000.00-€65,000.00 per yearBenefits:Additional leaveFood allowanceAbility to commute/relocate:Loughrea, CO.
