Lead Data Insights Specialist
This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled professional with 5–10 years' experience in data analysis, business intelligence, and reporting who wants to make a significant impact across various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as a key point of contact for BI tools including SAP BusinessObjects, SAP BW, and S/4HANA, coordinating with external vendors to ensure performance and continuity.
* Utilize SAP Analysis for Office (AFO) and Power BI to build and maintain reports and dashboards that drive business decisions.
* Support the maintenance of the BI architecture to ensure it scales with the business.
* Collaborate with project teams to deliver digital and data-driven transformation initiatives.
* Manage and support upgrades to BI software, maintaining alignment with change control procedures.
* Work closely with internal stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into clear, impactful data visuals.
* Coach internal users on self-serve analytics and respond to ad hoc analysis requests.
* Ensure high levels of data accuracy, consistency, and quality across reports and datasets.
Required Skills & Experience:
Technical Skills:
* Strong experience with Power BI (report building, data models, DAX).
* Hands-on experience with SAP Analysis for Office and BW/4HANA (report design, data extraction, data modelling).
* Proficiency in SQL, and ideally some exposure to Python or ETL tools.
* Familiarity with enterprise data environments; exposure to Microsoft Fabric is a plus.
Business & Analytical Competencies:
* 5–8 years of experience in BI, reporting, or analytics.
* Detail-focused with solid data validation and problem-solving skills.
* Comfortable working across departments and explaining technical insights to non-technical users.
