Job Description & Summary: Our FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) team is the leading, largest and only dedicated FDI / International tax practice of its kind in Ireland.
We work with international companies across all sectors investing in Ireland, helping them deal with a wide range of Irish and international tax matters.
This role offers a collegiate, open, informal and fun way of working together.
Your work will span multiple sectors and you will collaborate with specialists across Tax and xLoS.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Associate, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution.
You will work closely with FDI international clients to understand their businesses and manage risk, participate in secondments to Irish clients and PwC US offices, and collaborate daily with colleagues across other specialist groups.
Qualifications & Experience
At least 3 years of relevant tax experience, in practice or industry
AITI/CTA part/qualified or ambition to become tax qualified with a strong academic record
Enthusiasm to work with our broad range of FDI international clients, understand their businesses and work with them to address and manage risk
Desire to learn and apply knowledge from regular training sessions
Business Acumen – use a broad range of tools and techniques to extract insights from current trends in the market and utilise this information to assist clients in making innovative business decisions
Relationship management – ability to read situations and modify behaviour to build quality, diverse relationships
Creative – demonstrate an ability to contribute to new ideas and propose innovative solutions to problems
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Enthusiastic team player with a passion to coach and encourage others to achieve their potential
Ambitious – demonstrate strong commitment to personal learning and development
