Job Title: Restaurant and Bar ManagerReporting To: Director of OperationsResponsible for: Ensuring efficient and professionaloperation and customer service in accordance with company standards.
Managingall aspects of the delivery and service of the food and beverage team.The main duties involved in the role of a Restaurant and BarManager at The Address Collective are outlined below however this list is notexhaustive.
Main Duties:· To assist in the implementation of theconsistent delivery of superior customer service through the development andimplementation of SOPs (standard operating procedures).
· To ensure that the department creates aprofessional impression on customers and team members.
· To act on customer feedback relevant to yourareas of responsibility.
This includes customer complaints and compliments.
· To assist with the control and monitoring of payrollcosts by ensuring rotas are compiled in line with forecasted and actualbusiness levels.
· To supervise the department to ensure effectiveoperation on a day-to-day basis, whilst maintaining company brand standardsconsistently with attention to detail.
This includes ensuring shift controlsand procedures are adhered to.
· To comply with statutory and companyrequirements for Health and Safety, Food Safety, Risk Assessment, LicensingLaws, Disability and ensure all employment legislation is strictly adhered to.
· Assist with and suggest new promotionalopportunities to enable departmental sales to meet and exceed targets.
· To keep all department team members salesfocused and ensure ongoing training as required and submitting training recordsfor the attention of senior manager.
· Be knowledgeable of all food and beverage menusworking in cooperation with Head Chef and kitchen team.
· To actively upsell throughout all aspects ofcustomer service and train team to do so.
· At all times conduct yourself in a professionaland courteous manner.
· Ensure customer satisfaction throughout theredining experience with us.
· Ensure dining areas are maintained withincleaning schedules.
· To read, understand and comply with yourresponsibilities as defined in the Health and Safety statement and StaffHandbook.
· To ensure HACCP, cleaning schedules arecompleted on a daily basis and standards maintained.
· To actively participate in any training andpersonnel exercises designed to improve standards and performance levels.
· To carry out the company's customer relationpolicy.
· To communicate company's services to guest asrequired.
· To arrive for duty in accordance with rosteredtimes in full clean uniform and wearing name badge at all times.
· To ensure the highest standards in personalhygiene and grooming.
