The role will involve overseeing mechanical installation activities on site, supporting project management teams and ensuring works are delivered safely, in line with programme and to the required quality standards.This position suits an experienced mechanical engineer with a strong background in pharmaceutical or life sciences construction who is comfortable operating in regulated environments and coordinating complex mechanical systems on live projects.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee mechanical installation works on pharmaceutical and life sciences projects from early construction through to commissioning and handoverCoordinate mechanical subcontractors and site teams to ensure works progress in line with programmeManage technical queries, RFIs and interface coordination with design teams and other disciplinesMonitor installation quality and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and industry standardsSupport testing, commissioning and validation activities in line with project requirementsTrack progress on site and report on mechanical status to project and client teamsAssist with procurement, materials management and short-term planningPromote and maintain a strong safety and quality culture across mechanical works on siteRequirementsDegree or trade background in Mechanical Engineering or Building ServicesProven experience working as a Mechanical Engineer or Senior Mechanical Engineer on pharmaceutical or life sciences construction projectsStrong understanding of mechanical systems including HVAC, process piping and cleanroom servicesExperience working within regulated environments and quality-driven projectsAbility to coordinate subcontractors and manage site-based mechanical activitiesStrong communication and coordination skillsPackageSalary circa €75,000 to €85,000 depending on experienceFull benefits package available and discussed at interview stage
