The IBTS is currently recruiting Full time, permanent and temporary, RGN’s based in the Nursing Department at both Mobile 1 based in the National Blood Centre and our clinic in D’Olier St., Dublin 2.
The Irish Blood Transfusion Service (IBTS) operates nurse-led collection clinics, managed by a Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM). The role of the Registered Nurse in the IBTS is to work with the CNM to support the IBTS strategic priorities with regard to achieving operational excellence, improving customer (donor) experience and supporting better healthcare, ensuring compliance with current legislative requirements.
* To be registered with NMBI (live register) in any Division
* Have at least 2 years post registration experience, relevant to the role of the Registered Nurse in the IBTS
* Demonstrate experience in managing people
* Evidence of recent continuous professional development (CPD)
* Excellent written communication skills, demonstrating a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
* Proven IT skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook) and experience of working with electronic Patient Management / Learning Management systems
The salary scale attached to the post is the Enhanced Nurse payscale €43,872 to €56,706 (incl. LSI) pro rata per annum. Entry point onto the salary scale is dependent upon relevant experience.

Eligible candidates must be:
* A citizen of the European Economic Area (EEA) – EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway
* A citizen of United Kingdom (UK)
* A citizen of Switzerland in regards to the agreement between the EU and Switzerland on the movement of people
* A non-EEA citizen who has a stamp 4 visa
* A person awarded international protection under the International Protection Act 2015, or any family member entitled to remain in the State as a result of family reunification and has a stamp 4 visa
* or
* A non-EEA citizen who is a parent of a dependant child who is a citizen of and resident in an EEA member state if the UK or Switzerland and has a stamp 4 visa.
