Checkout Manager Opportunity
This is a full-time role at a retail grocery store, working an average of 42.5 hours per week. The position involves managing a busy checkout department, supervising a team of up to 10 people, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
* Overall management of a busy checkout department.
* Supervision of a team of up to 8/10 people when on duty.
* Rostering for a team of approximately 25 people including the departments supervisory team.
* Queue management.
* Covering the customer service desk by assisting customers with questions/queries.
* Overseeing the store end of the home delivery service.
* Departmental housekeeping duties.
* Ensuring that all relevant legislation is adhered to.
* Staff training and development.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years' experience as a checkout manager/supervisor within a busy retail grocery environment. Previous experience working within a similar property would be desirable but is not essential.
