Claims Specialist Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Claims Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Global Litigation, Employment & Claims Team, you will play a crucial role in protecting the organization's assets relative to legal liabilities.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in claims management, with a strong understanding of general liability and workers' compensation claims. You will be responsible for conducting risk-based investigations, analyzing data, and developing effective negotiation and settlement strategies to mitigate risks and resolve claims.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough investigations to gather information and support defense of claims
* Partner with Third-Party Administrators (TPAs) and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory schemes
* Develop and maintain relationships with vendors providing support services and representation in relation to the claims process
* Manage and direct vendors to ensure effective utilization and optimal partnership
* Document claims in established claims management systems and maintain accurate records
