Position Summary
We're looking for a dependable and proactive
Catering field service Engineer
to become part of our service team. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing a range of commercial catering equipment to ensure smooth operation and minimal disruption for clients.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
* Carry out both reactive and planned maintenance on commercial catering appliances.
* Take part in an on-call rotation, approximately every sixth weekend.
* Conduct warranty inspections and repairs as needed.
* Install new catering equipment when required.
* Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs to commercial catering systems.
* Perform regular maintenance checks to ensure safety and efficiency.
* Respond promptly and professionally to service requests.
* Complete all job documentation accurately and on time.
* Communicate effectively with customers and internal colleagues.
* Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and environmental standards.
Skills & Experience
* Prior experience within the catering or engineering sector is preferred.
* Gas certification or experience is advantageous (training available if needed).
* Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding abilities are beneficial.
* Must hold a full, clean driving licence.
* Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities.
* Good communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
