Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, experienced Restaurant Manager to lead The Tan Yard team. The successful candidate will combine a passion for hospitality with sustainability-focused leadership.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily operations: staff management, scheduling, guest relations, and food & beverage delivery
* Maintain and elevate service standards and guest satisfaction
* Ensure strict compliance with hygiene, health & safety and sustainability policies
* Collaborate with kitchen leadership and suppliers to promote locally sourced, farm-to-fork menus
* Support special offerings, including the Killarney Urban Farm "Tour & Taste" experience
* Drive revenue, manage budgets and track key performance metrics
Candidate Profile
* Hospitality management experience (ideally casual fine dining or sustainable-restaurants)
* Leadership style that fosters teamwork and engagement
* Strong communication, organisational and guest-service skills
* Familiarity or interest in sustainable sourcing and farm-to-fork gastronomy
* Flexibility for evenings, weekends and seasonal periods
* Fluent English, with Ireland work permission
