Job Title: Field Technician - Killarney
Due to ongoing growth and expansion, Tricel currently has a vacancy for a Field Technician based in Killarney. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic self-starter with a technical background.
The successful candidate must provide technical support to Tricel customers, including engineers, site assessors, and sales agents, on the Tricel product range and industry standards. An engineering, construction, or technical background is preferred.
The role requires hands-on expertise, multitasking abilities, and strong leadership skills to contribute to project success.
Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise ad-hoc projects, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.
* Act as a technical authority, providing guidance and support to field personnel on complex issues and troubleshooting.
* Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to address technical queries and ensure seamless communication.
* Mentor and coach team members to enhance skills and foster continuous improvement.
* Undertake manual tasks and assist with onsite activities as required, demonstrating practical expertise and a proactive approach.
* Collaborate with engineering teams on drawing projects and technical solutions, leveraging field experience to inform design decisions.
* Drive key performance indicators (KPIs) within the division through proactive engagement and leadership initiatives.
* Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.
Candidate Profile
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical field role, preferably in construction, engineering, or related industries.
* Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience managing projects.
* Proficiency in manual tasks and willingness to engage in hands-on work in diverse environments.
* Strong multitasking skills and ability to prioritize effectively to meet project deadlines.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
* Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in construction, engineering, or related disciplines.
* Familiarity with CAD software and technical drawings is advantageous.
