Job Title: Building Management Systems (BMS) Engineer
Location: Dublin
Salary: €80-95k (bonus, company car/allowance, healthcare etc)
Role Overview
The BMS Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, commissioning, software configuration, optimisation and maintenance of building automation systems that control HVAC, lighting, environmental, and other building services systems to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant operation.
Key Responsibilities
Commission, configure, and optimise BMS platforms (Trend, Tridium, Siemens, Distech, Schneider, etc.).
Develop, modify, and maintain BMS control software and logic.
Perform point-to-point checks, I/O validation, and integration testing.
Collaborate with project managers, M&E contractors, and consultants to deliver successful installations.
Troubleshoot faults, diagnose issues, and implement corrective actions.
Provide technical support for clients during and after handover.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Controls / Automation) or equivalent.
Experience with BMS software platforms and protocols.
Strong controls, networking and field devices knowledge.
Ability to work onsite, travel between projects, and manage project deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication and documentation skills.
