As an Engineering & Maintenance Lead you will be responsible for developing and implementing site maintenance and continuous improvement strategies for milk processing into cheese and by-products. This role ensures standards meet customer requirements, regulatory standards, and company policies.

The Engineering & Maintenance Lead reports to the Site Lead as part of the Plant Management Team. Key responsibilities include:

* Developing and implementing site maintenance and continuous improvement strategies
">
* Ensuring standards meet customer requirements and regulatory standards
">
* Managing maintenance technician groups ensuring they are adequately trained and integrated into plant operations teams
">
* Maximising equipment and process efficiencies through proactive and predictive maintenance programs
">
* Coaching and regular feedback with direct reports
">
* Conducting routine performance development plans (PDPs) with reports
">
* Implementing best practice maintenance health and safety and quality management procedures
">
* Driving overall compliance to the Quality System including change control management and investigation of equipment events
">
* Supporting delivery of site engineering projects and managing site owned projects from initiation to completion
">
* Identifying, managing, and implementing process improvements opportunities to achieve site process improvement targets
">
">
Requirements:
">
Trade qualified or 3rd-level qualification in Engineering or related Technical Discipline.
">
Experience in hygienic maintenance and best-in-class maintenance standards.
">
Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma implementation skills.
">
Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office and CMMS systems.
">
Results-driven customer-focused individual with high-performance capability in fast-moving challenging business environments.
