Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist
Location: Sligo
Contract type: 12 month contract due to a team member moving to another business unit.
* Hybrid working (3 days onsite – specific days dictated whilst training, may be more flexible after that).
* This TA will support recruitment needs for Ballytivnan, Westport and Cork, but candidate location to be in Sligo.
* Requires 3 years + in‑house recruitment (essential), preferably experience in Pharma/Medical device and within Engineering recruitment ideally.
* Ability to manage multiple roles at once.
* Excellent communication and time management skills.
* Previous experience with ‘SmarRecruiters’ an advantage but training will be given.

* Recruitment Focus: Concentrate on a specific team/function or other areas as assigned, ensuring the attraction of top talent.
* Candidate Pool Development: Build and maintain a strong, qualified candidate pool for current and future openings.
* Pre‑screening and Project Management: Conduct pre‑screening of candidates, manage recruitment projects, and develop sourcing strategies.
* Talent Pool Management: Proactively identify, source, and manage talent pools aligned with business priorities.
* Job Requisition Management: Oversee open job requisitions, update and manage SmartRecruiters, and achieve recruiting metrics.
* Data and Analytics: Compile and communicate industry overviews, market trends, and analytics to team members and business leaders.
* Offer Packages: Prepare and approve offer packages, ensuring equity and market competitiveness.
* Compliance: Ensure adherence to state/federal employment laws and company policies for applicant tracking and reporting metrics.
* Business Partnership: Establish strong partnerships with hiring managers and leadership on staffing-related activities and issues.
What Skills You Need
* Education: Bachelor's degree required.
* Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recruitment experience in a competitive, fast‑paced environment.
* Business Presence: Ability to project a strong business presence and instill confidence in clients.
* Proactive Recruiting: Proven experience in proactive recruiting and sourcing.
