We are seeking a Director to lead the delivery of transportation and rail infrastructure projects across Ireland. The role requires a strategic, technically proficient leader with a proven record in managing large, multi-disciplinary teams and delivering high-value projects from concept through to completion.Responsibilities:Provide strategic and technical leadership across transportation and rail projects.Oversee project delivery, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule compliance.Manage and mentor senior project managers and engineering teams.Lead the development and execution of bids and proposals.Maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for business growth.Drive the adoption of innovative design practices, digital delivery, and sustainability.Ensure technical excellence, compliance with standards, and safe-by-design principles.Represent the organisation in key stakeholder meetings and industry forums.Requirements:Degree-qualified Chartered Engineer or equivalent professional status.Extensive experience delivering major transportation or rail infrastructure projects.Strong background in project, commercial, and technical management within consultancy or client-side environments.Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage multiple concurrent projects.Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.Full driving licence and willingness to travel as required.This is a senior leadership role offering the chance to shape the direction of Ireland's transport and rail infrastructure.
