Key Responsibilities:
The role of the Kitchen Porter/Cleaner is pivotal in maintaining a high standard of customer service at our Store. The position requires attention to detail and pride in work completed.
Job Purpose:
This role involves assisting in ensuring a high quality of service is maintained in the Store through diligent work and adherence to hygiene regulations.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen area, ensuring all surfaces, equipment, and storage spaces are clean and free from debris.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained, presented to a high standard, and adheres to health and safety regulations.
• Report any damage, wear, or tear on kitchen equipment to supervisors/managers for prompt repair or replacement.
• Work closely with the Chef on duty to ensure a high-quality service is provided to customers.
• Complete daily cleaning checklists, sign off on tasks, and verify all duties are carried out effectively.
• Comply with company policy on stock controls, waste management, transfers, deliveries, and health & safety practices.
• Develop quality control procedures and demonstrate initiative and creativity within the workplace.
• Adapt to new policies and procedures implemented by management in the kitchen.
