Director of Nursing at a 66-bed Residential Care Home in South Co.
Limerick.
Flexible Working Hours (8-hour shifts) Monday – Friday.
The Director of Nursing will be supported by a very experienced Chief Operations Manager.
This is a full-time permanent role working 39 hours per week from Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
Provide professional nursing leadership and operational management for the care home.
Oversee care plans, staff management, and operational planning and forecasting.
Ensure compliance with HIQA regulations and relevant legislation.
Collaborate with the Chief Operations Manager to support service delivery and quality standards.
Requirements
BSc in Nursing
Full NMBI registration
QQI Level 6 in Management & Leadership
Minimum of 3 years management experience working in a Care of the Elderly setting
Strong knowledge of HIQA regulations and relevant legislation
Experience in managing staff, care plans, and operational planning and forecasting
Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills with references
Must have full legal right to work in Ireland (no sponsorship available)
