This position of lead Air Conditioning Engineer will be responsible for the servicing and the planned & reactive service schedule, repairs, maintenance, and installation of air conditioning and refrigeration systems of our retail & commercial customers in the Greater Dublin / Leinster area.Job Responsibilities;Support our client network in delivering high quality PPM and reactive works in accordance with our agreed KPI's and SLA's in place.Undertake maintenance repairs, installation or servicing work as detailed by client specification.Locate & purchase items of equipment to facilitate the speedy & effective service to our clients.Maintain your Van from a Health & Safety perspective and ensure it is presentable at all timesMaintain all company issued equipment in a clean, serviceable, presentable, and safe manner.Ensure all Company documentation is always completed accurately and legibly in accordance with Statutory Compliance and expectations.Observe and always stay in sync with all working practices and to ensure compliance with the appropriate health & safety statutory requirements.Participate in the Company's out of hour's emergency call out rota as the need arises.Communicate current status of works to our Helpdesk after completion of visit.Ensure all professional qualifications required to undertake duties are accurate and up to date.Support the helpdesk in their role by effective communication and promote efficiency.Attend review meetings where necessary.Ensure that work area is maintained in a clean and tidy state and dispose of all waste products in a suitable manner and in line with company proceduresAlways maintain a professional manner and develop good working relationships with clients and other staff members.Support Facility Manager & Regional Project Managers where possibleManage nationwide sub-contractors and project manage any small - medium project works.QualificationsProficient and capable of servicing all commercial / retail Air Conditioning Units, Split Systems, Cassette's, VRV, VRF, etc.Refrigeration Craft qualification (F-GAS C&G 2009 CAT 1)Formal training / certification in servicing split a/c, Air handling plantsFull driving licenseSafepassExperience in maintaining and servicing chillers installations/Air Handling plantA proven knowledge of AHU, ventilation ancillaries and relevant controls a mustGID gas qualificationsMinimum 3 years post apprenticeshipPrevious experience working in a building services maintenance roleJob Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:Company carCompany eventsCompany pensionFree or subsidised travelSick payExperience:Qualified : 3 years (required)Licence/Certification:F-Gas (required)Drivers Licence (required)Work authorisation:Ireland (required)Location:Dublin, County Dublin (preferred)Work Location: On the road
