The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing structural activity, adhering to health and safety regulations, and ensuring the site team adheres to them. The project manager will also be responsible for monitoring project progress, tracking key performance indicators, and reporting on project status to stakeholders.
Project Manager Job Role:
* Carry out thorough project evaluations and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary corrective measures.
* Oversee structural activity
* Adhere to Health and Safety Regulations and ensure the site team adheres to them also.
* Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on project status to stakeholders.
* Evaluate and select contractors and subcontractors based on qualifications, experience and cost-effectiveness.
* Provide leadership and guidance to the project team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
The project manager will also be responsible for ordering materials, maintaining excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors and site personnel, and attending weekly meetings to update senior management, clients and directors on the progress of the project.
Project Manager Job Requirements:
* 10+ years relevant experience on infrastructure/civils projects
* Civil Engineer/Construction Management Degree
* Heavy Civils Knowledge
* Strong communication skills
* Excellent project management skills, including effective planning, organising and prioritising tasks.
* Strong financial understanding and experience in project budgeting and cost control.
* Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and PowerPoint.
