Responsibilities
Administration and management of a portfolio of corporate Group Health Schemes
Working with Consultants to facilitate annual Health renewals
Providing ongoing administration support to both the client and their employees
Working closely with the Consultants on building relationships with insurers, keeping up to date with market changes, preparing member communications, etc.
Supporting the new business team on Health proposals
Supporting the wider Health Insurance Advisory Team on dealing with routine enquiries from client companies and scheme members
Delivering a high level of customer service
Supporting team and management functions where necessary
Education, Qualifications & Experience
APA (Health Designation) and maintaining CPD, or progression towards same
Commercial awareness and a demonstrable interest in understanding the business of corporate clients
Ideally a minimum of 2 year’s relevant experience (with a Health Insurer or other relevant Financial Advisory firm/Life & Pensions Broker preferable)
Experience in a customer service facing role
Skills & Attributes
Good communication & interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook (Intermediate level)
Successful candidates are likely to be confident multi-taskers with a good work ethic and a keen focus on attention to detail
Ability to manage own workload while prioritising effectively and efficiently
Personal Qualities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team and have ability to organise their own workload
Demonstrate a high degree of energy, enthusiasm, and flexibility
Numeracy and excellent organisation skills are essential for this position
