Design Manager- CanadaExciting relocation opportunity for aDesign Managerto join theBuilding Divisionof one ofCanada's Largest Main Contractors(Circa $3 Billion turnover annually) to work across a mixed portfolio ofHigh-Rise,Commercial, Healthcare and Educational projectsin the company'sOntario division in Canada. We are ideally looking for the Design Manager who has fulfilled this role with a Main Building Contractor in Ireland or the UK previously whilst working on large building projects.Role:Oversee the entire design process from inception to completion, including coordination of activities and adherence to regulatory standards.Analyse contracts and budgets to ensure project goals are met and align with compliance standards.Manage and guide consulting teams, hiring additional consultants as needed for the project.Implement and oversee quality assurance processes for design completion and regulatory adherence.Create detailed design schedules that integrate with project deadlines and monitor progress to meet timelines.Requirements:Degree or diploma in a construction, engineering, or architecture field.Over 10 years of construction experience, including 3 years in design management for a main contractor in Ireland or the UK.Proficient in industry software tools such as MS Office, BIM 360, Navisworks, Revit, ACONEX, and Revizto.Strong critical thinking, analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail.Willing to permanently relocate to Canada within six months.Package:Salary $180k - $195k / Circa €110k - €120k CADGenerous relocation package (Flights and Initial accommodation)Work permit and visa costs coveredComprehensive healthcare scheme for you and immediate familyGenerous pension contributionsGenerous annual leave entitlementIf you are aDesign Managerconsidering a career move, please feel to send yourCV or contact Declan Hasson for a confidential discussion.GPC will not send any applicants CV's to clients without a full discussion and prior consent.
